Planning Manager In The Manufacturing Industry

Requirements

Responsibilities :
* Collect and understand the demand planning assumptions by working closely with brands,sales and activation team 
* Develop Rough Cut capacity plans for manufactured products with an understanding of capacities of internal and external resources
* Support the sales and Operations planning process and lead same from time to time as mandated by Head of Planning.
*Provide direction to the Production Planners in collaboration with sales and other operations teams to develop production schedules that meet delivery promises
* Be responsible for MRP parameters for materials specific to assigned product portfolio
* Support on time and in full delivery of materials by ensuring orders of materials are raised in accordance with material parameters
*Maintain Inventory levels for materials at agreed levels ensuring no out of stock and avoiding stocking overstock
* Responsible for Inventory carrying costs for the product portfolio
* Work with procurement teams to develop contingency plan to protect continuity of supply of materials
 *Provide training, development and guidance to new and current staff
*Concise daily/week/ monthly updates to management

 Requirements :
1. Bachelor degree Engineering/ Physical Sciences
2. 5-6yrs demonstrated experience with at least 3yrs in demand, material or Supply planning function
3. Hands on experience on SAP APO and SAP ECC modules.
4. Full knowledge of the principles and concepts of Materials and supply 
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management
6. IT savvy including the use of SAP and MS Office suite application
7. Professional qualification in supply chain or master in supply chain will be added advantage.
8. Team player with strong customer orientation and ability to work in multinational and multicultural environment
