Requirements

Objective:  The ideal candidate will direct the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective strategy to mitigate risk, maintain continuity of operations, and provide for the safety and security of the Delivery side of the business. They will also serve as the subject matter expert on all safety and security related matters. They will establish policies and standards affecting safety and security of staff members, field activities, deliveries and assets across Nigeria. They will ensure security protocols and mechanisms are in place to address any delivery process unique security challenges. The incumbent provides direction and technical support in developing and maintaining context-specific field security plans. This position may require some travel.

Responsibilities and Duties
1. Serve as the primary focal point for safety and security for the employees and the delivery side of the business.
2. Provide technical support to the field in the following areas:
security/risk assessments;
3. Scenario planning, security plan development; and
 other security-related functions.
4. Develop and update security plans, business continuity plans and crisis management plans, and policies and procedures, in accordance with best practices and ensure their implementation;
5. Provide advice and counsel to management on matters relating to employee, third- party and property safety and security;
6. Investigate all safety, security and risk management related issues;
7. Give trainings if required;
8. Monitor security conditions and liaises and coordinates with external agencies – private agencies, police force, military;
9. Plans, organizes, administers, and coordinates  delivery-wide loss prevention and control program to identify and analyze potential exposure to loss; 

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a B.sc in any field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field
An ex- military, naval officer, police office is preferred 
Have strong relationship with the Nigerian police force and the Military
An ability to hit the ground running
